"Fingal County Council's first annual progress report on its Climate Action Plan 2024–2029 shows 95 of 162 actions completed by 2025. Energy efficiency reached 57.7% improvement, exceeding the 2030 target early. Public lighting fully converted to LED, a first for an Irish local authority. 119 social homes were retrofitted. 50% of the commercial fleet is now electric. The report covers six thematic areas and the Balbriggan Decarbonising Zone."
