"Sinn Féin will bring a Dáil motion on 8 June calling for the government to support a boycott of Ireland's Nations League fixtures against Israel, citing legal and moral grounds. The FAI EGM on the boycott is progressing. The Social Democrats will also table a similar motion. Taoiseach Micheál Martin warned against self-defeating actions, noting that forfeiture would cost six points and damage Ireland's FIFA ranking."
